33.1-163. Effect of abandonment.

In case of the abandonment of any section of road or any railroad crossingunder the provisions of this article, such section of road or such crossingshall cease to be a public road or crossing as the case may be. However, anysuch abandonment shall be subject to the rights of owners of any publicutility installations which have been previously erected therein.
