30-9. Privilege of members for words spoken or written.

No member or former member of the General Assembly shall be arrested orimprisoned for or on account of any words spoken or written or anyproceedings had in either house; but nothing herein shall in any respectrestrict the power which each house of the General Assembly has over itsrespective members.
