30-15.1:1. Use of Senate armorial bearings; penalty.

The armorial bearings adopted by the Senate of Virginia as their officialarmorial bearings shall carry the following protections on their use:

1. Only current and former members of the Senate of Virginia and the Clerk ofthe Senate shall have the authority to utilize such armorial bearings or anyfacsimile or representations of the armorial bearings.

2. Representations of such armorial bearings used by former members of theSenate shall be colored blue.

3. Such use shall not be for any commercial purpose.

4. Any person violating the provisions of subdivision 1 shall be guilty of aClass 3 misdemeanor. Any person violating the provisions of subdivisions 2and 3 shall be guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor.
