29.1-730. Surrender of certificate required when security interest paid.

It shall constitute a Class 1 misdemeanor for a secured party who holds acertificate of title as provided in this chapter to refuse or fail tosurrender the certificate of title to the person to whom it is legallyentitled within ten days after the security interest has been paid andsatisfied.
