24.2-440. Eligibility for temporary registration by absentee application.

Any person who is entitled to register to vote in federal elections under theUniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (42 U.S.C. 1973ff etseq.) and is not eligible for permanent voter registration pursuant toArticle 4 of this chapter, shall be eligible for temporary registration underthis article to vote in any federal election. Federal elections include anygeneral, special, or primary election for President, Vice President,presidential electors, or a member of the United States Senate or House ofRepresentatives.
