22.1-267. Proceedings against habitually absent child.

Any child permitted by any parent, guardian, or other person having controlthereof to be habitually absent from school contrary to the provisions ofthis article may be proceeded against as a child in need of supervision asprovided in Chapter 11 ( 16.1-226 et seq.) of Title 16.1.
