22.1-249. Central depository may be authorized by Board.

The Board of Education may, in its discretion, authorize a central depositoryto be operated under the general control of the Board. If such a depositoryis established or maintained, the Board may require that orders from schoolboards be filed with the depository rather than with the publisher, butnothing in this section shall prohibit special orders of books from beingfilled directly by the publishers.
