22.1-212.2. Statewide Electronic Classroom Program.

From such funds as are appropriated, the Board of Education shall establish aStatewide Electronic Classroom Program. The Statewide Electronic ClassroomProgram shall be made available to every public high school.

The Board may utilize the services of the Commonwealth's five educationaltelevision stations and earth satellite stations as well as any otherappropriate technology for the purposes of implementing the StatewideElectronic Classroom Program.

The services of this program shall be limited to educational purposes.Educational purposes shall include, but not be limited to, classroominstruction in subject areas which are not available in all schools andinservice training for instructional, administrative and support personnel.
