22.1-183. When warning lights and identification to be covered.

It shall be unlawful for a school bus licensed in this Commonwealth to beoperated on the public highways of this Commonwealth for the purpose oftransporting persons or commodities other than school personnel, schoolchildren or elderly or mentally or physically handicapped persons unless thelettered identification and school bus traffic warning lights on the frontand rear of such bus are covered with some opaque detachable material. Thissection shall not apply to any such bus when operated by a salesman ordemonstrator in connection with a prospective sale or delivery of a bus.
