22.1-151. Evidence of loan.

A loan from the Literary Fund shall be evidenced by bonds or notes payable tothe Commonwealth of Virginia for the benefit of the Literary Fund, executedor signed by the chairman of the school board and attested by the clerkthereof. Evidence of debt taken for such loans and a certificate ofrecordation of a memorandum of lien in the appropriate circuit court shall bedeposited with the State Treasurer and kept by him.
