2006 Code of Virginia § 19.2-46 - Compensation
19.2-46. Compensation.
The salaries of all magistrates shall be fixed and paid as provided in 19.2-46.1. The salaries referred to herein shall be in lieu of all fees whichmay accrue to the recipient by virtue of his office.
Each substitute magistrate shall receive for his services a per diemcompensation as may be established by the Committee on District Courts.
