19.2-215.10. Participation by Office of Attorney General; assistance ofspecial counsel permitted in certain prosecutions.

Upon request by the applicants or upon motion to the presiding judge byspecial counsel, the Office of Attorney General may participate as specialcounsel in the multi-jurisdiction grand jury proceedings and any prosecutionsarising therefrom. In any prosecution arising out of the multi-jurisdictiongrand jury, the attorney for the Commonwealth may also obtain the assistanceof the special counsel to the grand jury as a special assistant attorney forthe Commonwealth.
