18.2-455. Unprofessional conduct; revocation of license.

Conduct that is made illegal by this article on the part of an attorney atlaw or any person holding license from the Commonwealth to engage in aprofession is unprofessional conduct. Upon hearing pursuant to the provisionsof 54.1-3935, or other statute applicable to the profession concerned, ifthe defendant be found guilty of barratry, his license to practice law or anyother profession shall be revoked for such period as provided by law.
