16.1-326. Supplementary agreements.

The compact administrator is hereby authorized and empowered to enter intosupplementary agreements with appropriate officials of other states pursuantto the compact. In the event that such supplementary agreement shall requireor contemplate the use of any institution or facility of this Commonwealth orrequire or contemplate the provision of any service by this Commonwealth,said supplementary agreement shall have no force or effect until approved bythe head of the department or agency under whose jurisdiction saidinstitution or facility is operated or whose department or agency will becharged with the rendering of such service.
