15.2-927. Garbage and refuse disposal.

Any locality may collect and dispose of garbage and other refuse; mayregulate and inspect incinerators, dumps and other places and facilities forthe disposal of garbage and other refuse and the manner in which suchincinerators, dumps, places and facilities are operated or maintained; andwithout liability to the owner thereof may prevent the use thereof for suchpurposes when they contribute or are likely to contribute to the contractionor spread of infectious, contagious or dangerous diseases.
