13.1-927. Resignation of registered agent of foreign corporation.
A. The registered agent of a foreign corporation may resign his agencyappointment by signing and filing with the Commission his statement ofresignation accompanied by his certification that he has mailed a copythereof to the principal office of the corporation by certified mail. Thestatement of resignation may include a statement that the registered officeis also discontinued.
B. The agency appointment is terminated, and the registered officediscontinued if so provided, on the thirty-first day after the date on whichthe statement was filed.
