13.1-527.01. Severability clause.

If any section, subsection, sentence, part or application of this chapter beadjudged by any court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, such judgmentshall not affect, impair or invalidate any other section, subsection,sentence, part or application but shall be confined in its operation to thesection, subsection, sentence, part or application directly involved in thecontroversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
