10.1-1415.2. Plastic holding device prohibited.

A. On and after January 1, 1993, it shall be unlawful to sell or offer forsale beverage containers connected to each other, using rings or otherdevices constructed of plastic which is not degradable or recyclable.

B. For the purpose of this section:

"Beverage container" means the individual bottle, can, jar, or other sealedreceptacle, in which a beverage is sold, and which is constructed of metal,glass, or plastic, or other material, or any combination of these materials."Beverage container" does not include cups or other similar open or looselysealed containers.

"Degradable" means decomposition by photodegradation or biodegradationwithin a reasonable period of time upon exposure to natural elements.
