3.1-796.121. Disposal of dead companion animals.

The owner of any companion animal which has died from disease or other causeshall forthwith cremate, bury, or sanitarily dispose of the same. If, afternotice, any owner fails to do so, the animal control officer or other officershall bury or cremate the companion animal, and he may recover on behalf ofthe local jurisdiction from the owner his cost for this service.
