3.1-684.9. Action of Governor if sixty percent of voters favor assessment.
If the Governor finds the referendum in order and that at least sixty percentof those voting are in favor of the assessment for the purpose of conductingprograms in research, education, publicity and the promotion of the sale anduse of soybeans, he shall so proclaim and establish within the VirginiaDepartment of Agriculture and Consumer Services a Virginia Soybean Board asdefined in 3.1-684.13.
