3.1-636.7. Subsequent referenda.

The Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services, upon petition by at least 10percent of the producers in the Commonwealth as determined by theCommissioner, shall provide for a referendum on the continuation of the AppleBoard or amending the excise tax on apples if established pursuant to 3.1-636.1. The Board of Agriculture and Consumer Services shall not act onsuch a petition for conducting a subsequent referendum until at least fiveyears have passed since the last referendum. Any referendum held under thissection shall be conducted in accordance with this article.
