3.1-632. Commercial apple-producing districts of Virginia.

The commercial apple-producing districts of Virginia are as follows:

I. Northern Virginia District - Clarke, Fairfax, Frederick, and LoudounCounties, and the City of Winchester.

II. Central Virginia District - Accomack, Fauquier, King William, Lancaster,Madison, Middlesex, Northampton, Northumberland, Orange, Page, Rappahannock,Richmond, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Warren, and Westmoreland Counties.

III. Southern Virginia District - Albemarle, Amherst, Augusta, Bedford,Botetourt, Buckingham, Carroll, Charlotte, Dickenson, Franklin, Floyd, Giles,Grayson, Halifax, Hanover, Henry, Isle of Wight, James City, Lee, Louisa,Lunenburg, Montgomery, Nelson, Nottoway, Patrick, Pittsylvania, PrinceEdward, Pulaski, Roanoke, Rockbridge, Russell, Smyth, Southampton, Surry,Wise and Wythe Counties.

In any case in which the commercial production of apples begins in any countyor city not included above, such county or city shall become a part of thenearest district which has the lowest commercial apple production accordingto production records of the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
