3.1-612. Marking containers; contents to conform to markings.

No apples, except apples delivered for processing or packing or delivered tostorage for packing, shall be sold, packed for sale, offered for sale ortransported for sale, in containers, unless:

1. Each such container bears conspicuously in plain words and figures on theoutside, or on a durable stuffer within and readily readable from theoutside, showing the correct size, minimum quantity and correct variety ofthe apples in the container, one of the official grades and one of theofficial standards for apples established by the Board under this article,and the name and address of the producer's or packer's business; and

2. The apples in each such container conform to the markings appearing onsuch container.
