3.1-59. Bonds eligible for investment.

Bonds issued by the authority under the provisions of this article are herebymade securities in which the Commonwealth, its agencies and publicinstitutions and such city or county and the other municipalities, countiesand other political subdivisions of the Commonwealth, all insurancecompanies, trust companies, banks, banking associations, investmentcompanies, executors, administrators, trustees and other fiduciaries, and allother persons whatsoever who are now or may be hereafter authorized to investin bonds or other obligations of a similar nature may properly and legallyinvest funds including capital in their control or belonging to them. Suchbonds are hereby made securities which may be properly and legally depositedwith and received by any state or municipal officer or state agency or publicinstitution or any municipality, county or other political subdivision of theCommonwealth for any purpose for which the deposit of bonds or otherobligations is now or may be hereafter authorized by law.
