3.1-51. Acquisition of property.
The authority is hereby authorized and empowered to acquire by purchasesolely with funds provided under the authority of this article, such lands,structures, property, rights-of-way, easements and other interests in lands,as it may deem necessary or convenient for the construction and operation ofthe market, and upon such terms and at such prices as may be considered by itto be reasonable and can be agreed upon between it and the owner thereof.
