3.1-449. Special order of court allowing supersedeas.

No such appeal shall, in either case stated in the preceding section (3.1-448), act as a supersedeas except on a special order of the courtallowing a supersedeas. An application for such supersedeas shall only beheard after reasonable notice to the Commission, and the order allowing thesame shall require of the appellant a bond with sufficient surety in such sumas shall be fixed by the court for the protection of all parties interestedin the action or order appealed from.

A special order of court permitting an appeal to act as a supersedeas may bemade only after reasonable notice to the Commission, and shall provide thatthe appellant file a bond, with sufficient surety, in such sum as shall bedetermined by the court to be necessary for the protection of producers andothers during the pendency of the appeal.
