3.1-291. Inspectors; assistance of personnel in Department of Agricultureand Consumer Services.

It shall be the duty of the Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Servicesto employ qualified inspectors to assist in the enforcement of this chapterand regulations adopted hereunder affecting the distribution and sale ofIrish potatoes and parts thereof intended for propagation purposes or plantedfor the production of commercial white potatoes. The Commissioner ofAgriculture and Consumer Services is hereby authorized to require ofpersonnel in his department the performance of duties which involve technicaland scientific questions in connection with the enforcement of this chapter.
