3.1-27.42. Purpose of Foundation; objectives.
The Foundation will have the following objectives:
1. To develop and promote programs of economic growth in rural Virginia thatare compatible with its cultural, resource and economic environment. TheFoundation will encourage entrepreneurial efforts to increase value-addedproduction, processing and marketing activities in rural Virginia.
2. To pursue programs that ensure the delivery of coordinated leadership andmanpower training activities and efforts.
3. To identify emerging needs and technological changes that generateproducts which can be produced by rural enterprises.
