Chapter 17 - Barbers, Beauticians and Manicurists
§ 453. Practice of barbering, beauty culture, and manicuring, and the operation of a barbershop and a beauty shop; licenses required

No person may engage for compensation in the practice of barbering, beauty culture, or manicuring, and no person may operate a barbershop or beauty shop, in the Virgin Islands after December 31, 1968, or hold himself out as being qualified so to do after such date, unless he is licensed therefor under this chapter. After such date no person may act as an apprentice in a barbershop or a beauty shop unless he is registered under this chapter.
