§ 2. Police force; organization

Universal Citation: V.I. Code tit. 23, § 2 (2019)
  • (a) The police force of the Virgin Islands shall be under the supervision of the Police Commissioner.

  • (b) The organization of the police force of the Virgin Islands within the U.S. Virgin Islands Police Department (V.I.P.D.) shall be in accordance with rules and regulations promulgated by the Police Commissioner and approved by the Governor.
