§ 200c. Juan Francisco Luis Day
Universal Citation: V.I. Code tit. 1, § 200c (2019)
(a) July 10 of each year, the birthday of Juan Francisco Luis, shall be observed as “Juan Francisco Luis Day” in the Virgin Islands in honor of the late Governor Juan Francisco Luis. Appropriate ceremonies shall be held in all public schools in the Virgin Islands. Such ceremonies may include programs, assemblies and/or guest speakers.
(b) The Commissioner of Education shall be responsible for the reproduction and dissemination of photographs and biographical data about Juan Francisco Luis to all private, public and parochial schools.
