§ 10-3-109 - Recreational facilities -- County library board in counties of less than 3,500 population.

A county library board, appointed and functioning in accordance with ยงยง 10-3-101 -- 10-3-108, in all counties of Tennessee having a population of less than three thousand five hundred (3,500), according to the federal census of 1960 or any subsequent federal census, has, in addition to all other authority given to it, the authority to conduct such recreational facilities, in conjunction with the public library, as it deems necessary and beneficial, either with or without charge to patrons thereof; provided, that any net proceeds from such recreational facilities be used solely for the capital improvement and operational expenses of the library and recreational facilities.
