55-9-412. Certificate of adjustment Issuance after inspection or adjustment.

Whenever any station provided for in § 55-9-411, after inspection or after an adjustment, made in conformity with the instructions of the department, determines that the headlights, auxiliary driving or fog lights or the brakes upon any vehicle conform with the requirements of this chapter, the station shall issue to the owner or the operator of the vehicle a certificate of adjustment on a form prescribed by the department, which certificate shall contain the date of the issuance, the make and registration number of the vehicle, the name of the owner of the vehicle, and the official designation of the station.
