44-8-407 - Compensation to taker-up.
44-8-407. Compensation to taker-up.
The taker-up is entitled to receive five dollars ($5.00) from the owner, and a reasonable compensation for keeping, to be determined as in the case of estrays, and the court to receive one dollar ($1.00).
