§ 36-6-15 Medical deductions by cities and towns. – Any city or town in the state through its legislative body may enact ordinances providing for the deduction from the compensation of city or town officers and employees for payments under the hospitalization or medical service plan of the nonprofit hospital service corporation or other charitable organization providing that service.
