§ 45-19-1.6 - Lien docket.

SECTION 45-19-1.6

   § 45-19-1.6  Lien docket. – Every city or town clerk, and the director of administration of the state of Rhode Island, shall provide a suitable well-bound book to be called the "lien docket" in which, upon the filing of any lien claim under the provisions of §§ 45-19-1.2 – 45-19-1.5 he or she shall enter the name of the employee, the name of the person, firm, or corporation alleged to be liable for the injuries sustained or sickness contracted, the name of an insurance carrier where the name is known at the time of filing of the notice, and the date that the injury was sustained or the sickness contracted, and the clerk or director of administration shall index the lien docket in the name of the employee and in the name of the insurance carrier where the name of the employee or insurance carrier is known at the time of filing the notice.
