§ 28-2-8 - Duty of law enforcement officers to seek unemployed persons.

SECTION 28-2-8

   § 28-2-8  Duty of law enforcement officers to seek unemployed persons. – After the issuance of the proclamation in § 28-2-1, it shall be the duty of the sheriffs and deputy sheriffs of the respective counties and of any other officer, state, county, or municipality charged with enforcing the law, to seek and continue to seek diligently the names and places of residence of able-bodied male persons within their respective jurisdictions between the ages of eighteen (18) and fifty (50) not regularly or continuously employed.
