5724 - Training.
§ 5724. Training. The Attorney General and the Commissioner of the Pennsylvania State Police shall establish a course of training in the legal and technical aspects of wiretapping and electronic surveillance as allowed or permitted by this subchapter, shall establish such regulations as they find necessary and proper for such training program and shall establish minimum standards for certification and periodic recertification of Commonwealth investigative or law enforcement officers as eligible to conduct wiretapping or electronic surveillance under this chapter. The Pennsylvania State Police shall charge each investigative or law enforcement officer who enrolls in this training program a reasonable enrollment fee to offset the costs of such training.
