[§ 5101.57.1] § 5101.571. Definitions.
 

As used in sections 5101.571 [5101.57.1] to 5101.59 of the Revised Code: 

(A) "Medical support" means support specified as support for the purpose of medical care by order of a court or administrative agency. 

(B) "Third party" means any health insurer as defined in section 3924.41 of the Revised Code, individual, entity, or public or private program, that is or may be liable to pay all or part of the medical cost of injury, disease, or disability of an applicant or recipient. "Third party" includes any such insurer, individual, entity, or program that would have been obligated to pay for the service, even when such third party limits or excludes payments in the case of an individual who is eligible for medicaid. "Third party" does not include the program for medically handicapped children established under section 3701.023 [3701.02.3] of the Revised Code.
