Section 12-5-11 - Family day.

12-5-11. Family day.

The governor shall proclaim the second Sunday in September of each year as "Family Day". Suitable exercises for the observance of the day shall be held in the state capitol and elsewhere as the governor designates.

ANNOTATIONS

Effective dates. — Laws 1999, ch. 50 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M. Const., art. IV, § 23, was effective June 18, 1999, 90 days after adjournment of the legislature.
