3-60-37. Other powers.

Notwithstanding any other provision to the contrary, the local governing body may delegate its community development powers in the manner provided for delegation of powers in the Community Development Law [ 3-60-1 to 3-60-37 NMSA 1978] to an urban development agency created pursuant to Section 3-46-41 NMSA 1978 of the Urban Development Law in which event the urban development agency shall be vested with such powers in the same manner as though the powers were conferred on the agency instead of the municipality.
