2005 Montana Code Annotated - 46-8-114 — Time and method of payment.


     46-8-114. (Temporary) Time and method of payment. When a defendant is sentenced to pay the costs of court-appointed counsel, the court may order payment to be made within a specified period of time or in specified installments. Payments must be made to the clerk of district court. The clerk of district court shall forward the payments to the department of revenue for deposit in the state general fund.
     46-8-114. (Effective July 1, 2006). Time and method of payment. When a defendant is sentenced to pay the costs of assigned counsel pursuant to 46-8-113, the court may order payment to be made within a specified period of time or in specified installments. Payments must be made to the office of state public defender, provided for in 47-1-201, and deposited in the account established in 47-1-110.
