28.242a Dissemination of criminal history information; exception.

Sec. 2a.

(1) Except as provided in subsection (2), all criminal history information that is associated with a state identification number and is supported by fingerprint impressions or images shall be disseminated in response to a fingerprint-based or name-based search of the criminal history record database.

(2) Subsection (1) does not require the dissemination of criminal history information that is nonpublic or is prohibited by law from being disseminated.
