§ 21-2A-04.1. Registration of prescribers with Program.

- (a) Deadline for prescribers. -- A prescriber shall be registered with the Program before obtaining a new or renewal registration with the Department under ยง 5-304(a) of the Criminal Law Article or by July 1, 2017, whichever is sooner.
- (b) Deadline for pharmacists. -- A pharmacist shall be registered with the Program by July 1, 2017.
- (c) Required training. -- Before registering with the Program, a prescriber and a pharmacist shall complete a course of instruction and training developed by the Department, including the effective use of the Program.
