61.330 Chief state school officer to deliver effects to successor -- Penalty. Upon retiring from office the chief state school officer shall deliver to his successor all books, papers, and effects belonging to the office, and on failure to do so he shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500), which shall be recovered by indictment in the Franklin Circuit Court.
