454.160 Lien created only by attachment or judgment. No lien on the property of a defendant constructively summoned shall be created otherwise than by an attachment, as is provided in KRS 425.301 to 425.316, or by judgment; nor shall any person be restrained from paying or delivering any money or property in his hands belonging or due to such defendant, by notice indorsed on the summons, or otherwise than by attachment or judgment. Effective: July 1, 1980 History: Amended 1980 Ky. Acts ch. 188, sec. 305, effective July 1, 1980. -Transferred 1952 Ky. Acts ch. 84, sec. 1, effective July 1, 1953, from C.C. sec. 418.
