281.720 Distinguishing plates for vehicles. Except for vehicles operating under a TNC, household goods, property, or U-Drive-It certificate, the department shall prescribe and furnish a motor carrier license plate, which shall at all times be displayed on each motor carrier vehicle authorized to be operated under a certificate. A person shall not transfer a motor carrier license plate from one (1) motor vehicle to another, except by the authority and with the consent of the department.
