(1) (2) The board may waive the examination and grant a license to applicants who present proof of current licensure in a state which has standards that are at least equivalent to those of this state. The board may waive the examination and grant a license to those who hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech and Hearing Association in the area for which they are applying for licensure.
