Whenever the commissioner denies any application for a license under the provisions of this subtitle or revokes any license issued pursuant to this subtitle, the commissioner shall forthwith file in his or her office a written order to that effect, stating his or her findings with respect thereto and the reasons for the action. The commissioner shall also forthwith serve upon the applicant for license or licensee a copy of the order, and the applicant or licensee may appeal to the Circuit Court of Franklin County, within thirty (30) days after the service of a copy of the order. Formerly codified as KRS 288.500. Legislative Research Commission Note (7/12/2006). In accordance with 2006 Ky. Acts ch. 247, secs. 38 and 39, this statute has been renumbered as a section of the Kentucky Financial Services Code, KRS Chapter 286, and KRS references within this statute have been adjusted to conform with the 2006 renumbering of that code.
