(1) (2) Any member of the United States military who is registered by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate, or Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic shall be eligible for direct reciprocity for initial Kentucky certification as an emergency medical technician. The Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services shall promulgate administrative regulations in accordance with KRS Chapter 13A as necessary to implement the provisions of this section.
